Assassinated by rival in crowded public space

PEDRO BRAND, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, 2025 Murder took place in front of the La Terraza bar in the suburbs of Santo Domingo. A hitman approached his victim unnoticed while he was in a crowd enjoying a night out and shot him in the head. The man fell dead to the ground. Police investigation revealed that the victim was a member of a local gang. It is therefore assumed that the hitman was hired by someone from a rival group.
