MANAUS, AMAZONAS, BRAZIL – OCTOBER 31, 2025 In the northern part of Manaus, in the Novo Aleixo neighborhood, a tragic motorcycle accident occurred. The rider was identified as 21-year-old Marcos Paulo Freitas de Souza.
The accident took place at the intersection of Madalena and Taquarana streets. Marcos was riding his Yamaha motorcycle when he suddenly lost control and crashed into the wall of a school building.
Emergency services were immediately called to the scene, but they were unable to help him. He was pronounced dead on site. Authorities have launched an investigation, reviewing security camera footage and collecting witness statements to determine the exact circumstances and cause of the accident.
