YAKUTSK, RUSSIA – JULY, 2019 At the bottom of the Lena River, in the 202nd microdistrict, a submerged passenger car was discovered. Police divers were sent to the wreck, where they found the bodies of a man and a woman.
The identities of the victims, as well as the motive for their murder or suicide, were never released. They are believed to be a couple, either married or lovers. Some unverified sources claim it involved a married man and his mistress, who took this desperate step of a joint suicide when his wife discovered their affair.
