INDIA – NOVEMBER 4, 2025 Two children, a boy and a girl, were playing together on the street without adult supervision. They came up with a very dangerous game – running across a fairly busy road. During the game, the girl unfortunately stepped directly into the path of a speeding motorcycle and was fatally struck. The incident was captured on CCTV.
The accident is a warning to all parents – leaving young children unattended, whether at home or outside, is never a good idea. Children are not able to realistically assess the risks of dangerous situations. It is also a reminder for all drivers that in residential areas, sudden pedestrian movement must be expected and speed should be adjusted accordingly.
