Brutality of drug cartels has crossed yet another line. After executing their rival, they chopped up his body and loaded it onto a wheelbarrow. They then triumphantly displayed his remains in a video.
The goal of cartel members is usually not just the death of their rival. The goal is to instill fear in enemies and gain respect. That is also one of the reasons these groups compete with each other in brutality.
Incidents like this are a harsh reminder of why not to join gangs, cartels, or similar criminal organizations, or maintain any contact with them. Violence is an everyday reality for these people and is usually the only way they resolve even the smallest disputes. Human life has no value to them. Such incidents are also yet another of many reasons to say no to drugs.
