He worked as a farmer and was moving on his motorcycle when he hit a combine harvester at quite high speed. It practically scalped his entire face, which remained hanging on the combine. His brain fell out onto the road.
According to the initial police investigation, Reidis was under the strong influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. The driver of the combine, 49-year-old Rafael René Torres, was taken into custody during the investigation.
