BAHIA, BRAZIL – SEPTEMBER 25, 2025 Beside a country road connecting the towns of Ourolândia and Umburanas, the body of a woman was found showing signs of violence. She had several gunshot and slash wounds. There were not enough bloodstains at the site, so it is assumed that she was murdered elsewhere and someone just dumped her here. Nearby, a freshly dug grave was found. Police believe the grave was intended for burying the body, but the perpetrator was interrupted.
Teams from the technical police department were called to the scene, where they carried out standard procedures, such as collecting evidence and initially examining the body. The body was then sent to the forensic medical institute for an autopsy to determine her identity, cause of death, and to assist in capturing the perpetrators.
