MORENO, PERNAMBUCO, BRAZIL – JULY 18, 2025 In a remote rural area of the city of Moreno, a decomposing corpse was discovered in a field. The body was found specifically between the regions of Gurjaú de Cima, Gurjaú de Baixo, and Engenho.
The deceased had no identification documents on him, and the advanced stage of decomposition is making it significantly more difficult for investigators to determine his identity. The body has been sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, where forensic experts will attempt to answer the key questions surrounding his death.
