NUEVO LAREDO, TAMAULIPAS, MEXICO – APRIL, 2020 Police received an anonymous report through the emergency line about the discovery of human remains on Degollado Street in the Madero neighborhood. Upon arrival at the location, the report was confirmed. At the edge of the road lay two garbage bags containing a dismembered male body.
The victim was never identified. The perpetrators were never caught either. However, police are convinced that one of the drug cartels active in that area of Mexico is behind the murder. Nuevo Laredo is one of the key cities for smuggling drugs into the United States, as it lies right on the border.
