MEXICO CITY, MEXICO – DECEMBER 4, 2024 At the intersection of the Ignacio Zaragoza and Río Churubusco roads, a huge accident occurred that claimed the lives of 4 people. A drunken 25 year old man was speeding in his car, failed to control the steering and hit 11 people who were just waiting for the bus to work. 4 people died on the spot, 7 people were injured, some more, some less.
The crash destroyed the front of his car and made it impossible for him to continue driving. He at least tried to flee the scene but was apprehended by witnesses and handed over to the police. He now faces manslaughter charges.
