DOMBIVLI, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA – JULY 21, 2025 Incident took place in the waiting room of Dr. Aniket Palande’s office at the Shree Balchikitsalaya Clinic in Nandivali. A 25-year-old man, Gokul Jha, entered the clinic accompanying a woman with a child and demanded that they be given priority. The receptionist, Sonali Kalasar, explained to him that the doctor was busy with a work meeting and asked him to wait like everyone else. At that moment, he began verbally and physically assaulting her.
A security camera inside the clinic recorded the attack. In full view of everyone in the waiting room, Gokul didn’t hesitate to punch her, knock her to the ground, and pull her by the hair. The intensity of the assault was brutal. Only the timely intervention of bystanders, including some of the attacker’s relatives, managed to stop him. He then fled the scene.
The footage from the security camera quickly went viral on social media, and the outraged public pressured the police into taking action. Gokul Jha was arrested and is currently facing criminal charges.
