Fatal consequences of collision between police armored vehicle and truck

ADANWOMASE, ASHANTI REGION, GHANA – JULY 9, 2025 During a head-on collision between a police armored vehicle (a so-called bullion van) and a truck transporting cement, five people lost their lives, including two police officers. According to witnesses, the accident was caused by the police officers as they were attempting to overtake another vehicle uphill in a risky manner. Two of the deceased civilians have not yet been identified as of today, and the entire accident remains under investigation.
