Father and son murdered by hitmen

BABAHOYO, LOS RÍOS PROVINCE, ECUADOR – AUGUST, 2025 Father and son were murdered by a hitman in front of their business. As it later turned out, they had long-standing problems with an extortion gang that demanded protection payments from them. However, they refused to comply. According to the police’s initial investigation, this was the main motive for their murder.
