VILA RICA, PARÁ, BRAZIL – AUGUST 24, 2025 On the BR-158 road near the São José community, a tragic traffic accident claimed three lives. The victims were Manoel Marinho da Silva Filho and his two sons, Pedro Eduardo Marinho da Silva and Raphael Marinho da Silva, both minors.
All three were traveling together on a single motorcycle when they collided with a truck. The causes of the accident are still under investigation and officially unknown. However, according to eyewitnesses, the truck driver was at fault, having struck them from behind.
The truck driver did not stop to provide assistance and fled the scene. Police closed the road for several hours due to the accident. A forensic team had to be called to the scene as part of the investigation to locate the truck.
