GARANHUNS, PERNAMBUCO, BRAZIL – APRIL 13, 2025 In the neighborhood of Magano, a 32-year-old woman identified as Maria Tatiane Serafim da Silva was murdered. On Rua Wilson Urquiza street, she was surprised by a hitman who began shooting at her without hesitation. She tried to run away, but after a few steps, she fell dead to the ground.

The perpetrator was not identified or captured. Although the motive for the murder is still part of an active police investigation, it is almost certain that it is connected to drug trafficking in the city. Maria was no innocent, but a well-known figure in the drug underworld, nicknamed “Taty.” Apparently, she dealt drugs and had already received death threats from various criminal groups in the past.
