ARCOVERDE, PERNAMBUCO, BRAZIL – NOVEMBER, 2016 In a rural area of the city of Arcoverde, in a location known as Engole Cobra, the dead body of a woman was found. She had five gunshot wounds to the head, caused by a .38 caliber revolver. She was identified as 24-year-old Edla Mayara da Silva Cunha. It was also found that shortly before her death, she had been released from prison. The perpetrator and motive remain unknown.
