JUPI, PERNAMBUCO, BRAZIL – NOVEMBER 18, 2025 Security camera in the Casas Populares area recorded an armed attack on two men who were standing outside in front of their house. Three masked hitmen arrived at the scene; two of them got out of the car and began shooting without hesitation. The third hitman stayed in the driver’s seat to ensure a quick escape.
According to some sources, 26-year-old Vinícius dos Santos Silva was hit more than 30 times. He died before emergency services arrived. Fifty-year-old Rosenildo da Silva suffered moderate injuries and was hospitalized at the Agreste regional hospital.
The police are currently conducting an intensive investigation to determine both the motive and the identities of the perpetrators. The spokesperson for the Pernambuco state police reassured the public that they will continue their procedures until the murder is fully investigated.
