PATERSON, NEW JERSEY, USA – MAY 11, 2025 Group of friends playing dominoes on the corner of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Lafayette Street became victims of an armed robbery. Three masked and armed men rushed them, demanding valuables and money.
One of the men, 40 years old, refused to comply and got into a struggle with one of the attackers. Moments later, two gunshots rang out, and he collapsed to the ground. The robbers fled the scene.
The injured man was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in critical condition. Unfortunately, despite all efforts by the medical team, he passed away.
