Man fell into a river full of crocodiles. Before he could reach safety, one of them caught him as prey. By the time help arrived, he had unfortunately already died.
Although crocodiles may seem like bloodthirsty monsters, in fact they “only” kill about 1,000 people a year. For context: mosquitoes kill up to a million, snakes hundreds of thousands, and dogs tens of thousands. When in areas inhabited by crocodiles, it is advised not to enter the water and to avoid young and nesting crocodiles.
