Human remains found by river in East Java

SRIKET, TAMBAKMAS, EAST JAVA, INDONESIA – JUNE 14, 2025 Finding human remains on a rock by the river sparked alarm in the village of Sriket. The body was nearly reduced to a skeleton, and it’s believed the river carried the remains to that location. Forensic specialists will transport the bones to a lab to identify the victim’s gender and identity, as well as to uncover the cause of death.
