CENTRAL JAVA, INDONESIA – MAY 31, 2025 On the railway track between the towns of Klampok and Brebes, a tragic collision between a person and a train occurred. A middle-aged woman apparently took a shortcut across the tracks without sufficient caution. She was hit by a fast-moving train, which practically tore her to pieces and amputated her entire face. She was dead at the scene.
The video shows local residents shortly after the accident playing with a piece of her torn-off face. This behavior is somewhat inappropriate, and they could be charged with desecration of human remains.
The incident is a reminder of how dangerous crossing railway tracks can be. In many countries, it is completely prohibited by law except at designated crossings. It is always best to cross tracks only at such places, even if it means your route is longer. After all, you have only one life and health.
