TURKEY Man committed insults and threats against the notoriously infamous mafia boss Sedat Peker. However, Peker did not tolerate any insults to his honor or potential damage to his reputation. He sent his goons after the man, who beat him inside a car to the brink of death.
Sedat Peker was in the past one of the most influential mafia bosses with ties to ultra-right nationalist groups. He was convicted of leading a criminal organization and spent part of his life in prison, from which he was released in 2014. However, his influence in the underworld continued to persist. In 2019, the justice system became interested in him again, which prompted him to flee the country. He stayed in Dubai, Kosovo, and Albania. Currently, an international arrest warrant has been issued for him.
