2011 65-year-old man was found torn to pieces in his backyard. A suicide note was found in his home stating his reasons for killing himself. He said he was in tremendous pain and depressed. Investigations revealed that he used to be a soldier trained in explosives.
Several other explosive devices and bomb-making components, such as detonators, were found in his house. This alarmed the police because they had the man on their radar previously for expressing his strong anti-government views online. A major security sweep was launched to safely defuse the explosives from his house and possibly track down other planted bombs. Fortunately, these fears proved to be false.
