MANGGUL, LAHAT, SOUTH SUMATRA, INDONESIA – SEPTEMBER 4, 2025 Railway crossing without warning devices and barriers claimed a victim. A man on a motorcycle did not pay enough attention to his surroundings and rode directly in front of oncoming train. He was seriously injured and died during his transport to the hospital. The victim worked as a secondary school teacher at the local elementary school.
The incident once again reminds us how important it is to pay attention to our surroundings while driving and remain fully concentrated. On the road, one second of inattention or one wrong decision can cost us our life. Stay safe.
