GUAYAQUIL, ECUADOR, 2026 Targeted hitman attack on a man resulted in more victims than planned. In addition to the intended target, a woman was shot by a stray bullet, along with another person.
Both of the injured received immediate first aid from bystanders and were transported to a hospital. Updates on their condition are not yet available.
The case is currently under active investigation by police. The motive, the identity of the attacker, and the victim remain unclear.
