MARACAIBO, ZULIA, VENEZUELA – FEBRUARY 17, 2026 Residents of the Canchancha sector were horrified by the discovery of a mutilated dead body of a man in the middle of the road. He lay in a pool of his own blood, with abrasions so deep that they opened his abdominal cavity.
According to the initial investigation, this is a victim of a so-called hit-and-run accident. Based on blood trails and tissue findings, it is assumed that he was struck and dragged more than 650 feet (200 meters) under a car.
