DEOLAPAR, MAHARASHTRA, INDIA – AUGUST 9, 2025 Video filmed on the Nagpur–Madhya Pradesh highway began spreading virally online. A 36-year-old man, Amit Bumra Yadav, had tied the lifeless body of his 35-year-old wife, Gyarshi Yadav, to his motorcycle and was transporting her.
It was later revealed that they had been victims of a traffic accident. A speeding truck hit them, causing his wife to fall from the motorcycle directly under its wheels, where she was fatally run over. The truck then fled the scene, and none of the passing drivers stopped to help. The desperate situation forced him into this extreme act of transporting her himself.
Before Amit arrived home with Gyarshi’s body, he was stopped by a highway patrol unit. After he explained what had happened, a search for the truck driver was launched. Amit also revealed that he had spent a long time waving and begging passing drivers for help, but no one stopped. He said tying his wife to the back seat of the motorcycle was something he did only as a last resort.
