MEXICO Members of a Mexican drug cartel showed no mercy to their captive and executed him in one of the worst possible ways. They took him to a remote location, doused him with gasoline, and burned him alive.
Such incidents are a harsh reminder of why it is unwise to get involved with or cooperate in any way with cartels, gangs, or other criminal organizations. These people have corrupted morals, and human life for them is worth at most how useful a person is to their organization.
Drug cartels use such extreme violence to demonstrate dominance and intimidate their enemies. Their main source of income is the drug trade, mostly cocaine. This is exactly what lies behind every gram of the drug you buy on the street, whether in Mexico, the U.S., Europe, or Australia. Say no to drugs.
