Cameroonian roads are the most dangerous in all of Africa and rank among the most dangerous in the world. Thousands of people die on them every year, and tens of thousands are injured. Accidents like this one happen daily and usually don’t lead to any improvements. The danger stems from the terrible condition of the roads, which often lack asphalt, as well as driver ignorance, lack of law enforcement, and overloaded vehicles.
