MALAYSIA Truck driver did not notice the scooter rider, began a turning maneuver, and crossed his path. The moped collided with it at nearly full speed. The incident claimed at least one life, that of the rider. Updates on the passenger’s condition are not yet known.
The incident once again highlights how fragile human life is and how dangerous riding a motorcycle or moped can be. Every time you ride, remember cases like this, ride with caution, and never assume that drivers of surrounding vehicles see you.
