The motorcyclist, identified as 43-year-old Rommel Celestino Vans, for unknown reasons crashed into the guardrails on the El Zopilote bridge. The impact caused intense sparks that ignited the entire motorcycle, engulfing Rommel in flames.
Shocked witnesses described seeing Rommel burning alive. The fire spread so quickly and intensely that they had no chance to help him.
