Motorcyclist dies in head-on collision with truck

SAN CRISTÓBAL, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – MARCH, 2026 Tragic head-on collision between a truck and a motorcyclist occurred in the Matapaloma community near the Haina dam. The 20-year-old motorcycle rider, identified only as ‘Yoiner,’ succumbed to his injuries at the scene. According to CCTV footage, he lost control of his motorcycle and crossed into the oncoming lane in a curve – the truck driver had no chance to react.
