Motorcyclist split in half by streetlight pole

SÃO LUÍS, MARANHÃO, BRAZIL – JULY 9, 2025 Young motorcyclist identified as Marlyson Belfort died in a tragic accident on Avenida dos Holandeses, near a gas station in the Araçagy neighborhood. He was riding a Yamaha MT-07 at high speed when he was reportedly hit by a car. He lost control of the motorcycle and was thrown into a streetlight pole. The impact was so strong that it literally split him in half.
