BARRANQUILLA, ATLÁNTICO, COLOMBIA – SEPTEMBER 9, 2023 Traffic accident happened in the Simón Bolívar neighborhood when a motorcyclist made a risky maneuver, attempting to squeeze between two public transport buses. He failed and ended up trapped between them.
One of the bus passengers recorded the incident on video. Panic among the passengers can be seen at the scene. The motorcyclist, in pain, shouted at one of the bus drivers to carefully move the vehicle forward.
Thanks to the coordination of the bus driver and the efforts of bystanders and passengers essentially all the witnesses – the motorcyclist was freed within just a few minutes. Miraculously, he escaped without serious injuries. As he himself said, his motorcycle took more damage than he did.
Both the media and the public agree that this was a blatant case of reckless driving, and he should consider himself lucky that karma didn’t punish him more harshly. It’s not hard to imagine how easily this accident could have ended fatally.
