MYANMAR (BURMA) Civilian was suspected of collaborating with anti-government rebels. Allegedly, he provided them with information about the movements of junta soldiers. In Myanmar, which is currently engulfed in a civil war, this is punishable by death. The soldiers executed him with a shot to the heart.
Footage like this is a reality of every war, not just in Myanmar. However, the problem with Myanmar remains global ignorance and indifference. Many people don’t even know where Myanmar is, and they don’t care. Countries like China and Russia finance the militant junta, which came to power through a violent coup against the will of the majority of citizens. These citizens form resistance rebel groups and fight back against them.
