Pedestrian hit and scattered across road

PESQUEIRA, AGRESTE, PERNAMBUCO, BRAZIL – AUGUST 5, 2025 At the 118th kilometer of highway BR-232, a tragic collision occurred between a pedestrian and a vehicle. The pedestrian was hit at high speed, causing his body to be literally torn apart. Parts of his body were scattered across the entire roadway, shocking all passing drivers.

The victim was identified as 57-year-old José Ferreira de Lima. The circumstances of the accident are now under police investigation. The driver fled the scene.
