Restaurant owner beat up his employee on live stream

ISTANBUL, TURKEY – NOVEMBER 14, 2025 Bahadur Onlu, nicknamed Bahadur Vahshi, has found himself at the center of attention across Turkey in recent days. He brutally attacked one of the employees of his restaurant in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, and he streamed the entire incident live on his social media. Everything ended only after police intervened, called to the scene by one of the viewers of the stream.

The video recording of the stream spread across the internet within moments. It shows Vahshi punching, kicking the victim, and according to some sources even using a baseball bat. Vahshi is currently being held in custody and faces charges of intentional bodily harm. Authorities also closed his restaurant, explaining that violence will not be tolerated.

According to all available information, this is not the first controversial violent case connected to Bahadur Vahshi. In 2022, he allegedly became involved in a conflict during which he stabbed a customer with a knife. His social media presence is also controversial, as he often behaves provocatively, even extremely. However, it may be precisely this that helped him build a large following.

Bahadur Onlu was born to a father from the Kurdish part of Turkey and a mother with Iranian citizenship. Thanks to his father, he was able to live in Turkey for some time, where he later obtained citizenship. After his arrest, the question is being raised whether he can be deported back to Iran.
