SUDAN Brutal footage shows a dead RSF soldier who was killed during fighting in the ongoing war in Sudan. He was apparently hit by large-caliber ammunition directly in the head, which caused his skull to be opened.
In Sudan, a brutal civil war has been going on since April 2023. Two militant groups, the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces, are competing for power after the fall of dictator Omar al-Bashir. Both sides accuse each other of war crimes, while at the same time both of them are demonstrably committing them. The result of the war is the collapse of the country, famine, and a massive humanitarian crisis.
