UKRAINE Russian combat drone operator eliminated two Ukrainian soldiers. He did so even though they were surrendering and came out of the trench with their hands above their heads.
Such behavior can be considered a war crime. The Geneva Conventions clearly state that it is forbidden to kill enemies who are “hors de combat,” meaning out of combat. This includes severe injury, but also surrendering.
