RUSSIA Russian committed a drug-related fraud, which led him to steal from a dangerous group of dealers. They didn’t let it go to protect their reputation. They tracked him down, took him to a secluded location, and broke all the fingers on his hand with a wooden plank. To further humiliate him, they also poured paint over him.
From one perspective, the man was lucky the incident didn’t happen in, for example, Latin America, where gangs deal with thieves much more harshly. Nevertheless, the incident reflects a brutal reality – drugs are stained with blood, which is just one of many reasons to avoid them.
