PALM BEACH, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA – MARCH 7, 2026Grand opening of a new branch of the fast-food chain Marathon Burger, which belongs to the legacy of the late rapper Nipsey Hussle, turned into a scene of violence on Saturday afternoon. Directly in front of the restaurant, an argument broke out that resulted in a shooting.
One man did not survive the incident and died on the scene. Two other people were transported to the hospital with injuries, but their condition is stabilized. Long Beach police have not arrested anyone yet and are intensively searching for the shooter, who fled the scene.
