ODIGBO, ONDO STATE, NIGERIA – JULY 28, 2025 Young man identified as Emmanuel brutally murdered his own brother, Daniel. The incident occurred near the Origbara River. He was caught in the act, cutting off his brother’s head.
Shocked locals who apprehended him forced him to carry the severed head through the street so everyone could see what he had done. This sparked a wave of angry shouts and mob violence.
Both brothers are sons of a local police officer known as “Awilo.” The motive behind the gruesome act remains unclear.
