AIR HANGAT DISTRICT, JAMBI PROVINCE, INDONESIA – JUNE 26, 2025 Between the villages of Sungai Langkap and Pendung Mudik, farmers discovered the body of a dead woman in a rice field. Her motorcycle was lying nearby, and at first glance, it looked like she had been in an accident. The victim was identified as 34-year-old Leni Siswanti from Sungai Medang.

However, more questions than answers have started to surface regarding her death. The area where she was found is not easily accessible by motorcycle, and she usually didn’t take that route home. There is some suspicion that she may have died under different circumstances and was then placed there to make it look like an accident. The police are currently investigating this possibility.
