JENIN, WEST BANK, PALESTINE – NOVEMBER 27, 2025 IDF is facing serious trouble after a video spread online showing how they treated two Palestinian detainees during a military operation in the city of Jenin. Even though the two men surrendered and fully cooperated with the soldiers – they lifted their shirts to show they had no explosives and made slow movements – the IDF responded with gunfire. Both men, aged 26 and 37, were killed and then covered with rubble from a bulldozer.
The Israeli side argues that both men were terrorists wanted for throwing explosives at security forces. The IDF unit allegedly faced a serious security threat in that moment and was forced to shoot in order to protect themselves.
The soldiers responsible for the act were soon brought in for questioning. However, about three hours later they were released back to duty. Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir told reporters that the soldiers acted exactly as expected. He later posted on X: “Terrorists must die.”
