PINDORAMA, SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – JUNE 14, 2025 32-year-old thief from São José do Rio Preto broke into a family home where a married couple lived with their daughter. He managed to steal only one mobile phone before being disturbed by the residents and forced to hide in the bathroom. There, he was found by the daughter, who began screaming in panic, causing a commotion among her parents.
The parents didn’t hesitate and started chasing the culprit through the surrounding streets. The thief desperately tried to escape by jumping onto a moving train. However, he fell between two train cars and suffered a serious injury to his right leg. He was taken to Padre Albino Hospital in Catanduva, where doctors decided to amputate his leg.
Apart from this karmic consequence, once he recovers, he will also face legal charges for trespassing.
