TAM ĐẢO, PHÚ THỌ, VIETNAM – SEPTEMBER 11, 2025 Three debt collectors working for local loan shark Nguyễn Hữu Thành went to the home of a debtor, 46-year-old Hoàng Văn B., to forcibly collect owed money. However, only his wife, 36-year-old Lê Thị D., was home. That apparently didn’t stop them, and they decided to beat her as a warning.
When she opened the door, all three violently entered the house and brutally assaulted her. While she lay paralyzed with shock on the floor, they kicked her with full force. They didn’t stop even when she tearfully begged them to stop. Only when someone appeared outside did they finally leave. The brutality of their actions is highlighted by the bloodstains on the floor.
Lê Thị D. suffered serious injuries and had to be hospitalized. Fortunately, doctors managed to stabilize her condition.
Hospital doctors promptly informed the police, who questioned Lê Thị D. and her husband. This led them to the entire extortion group, and just two days later, on September 13, all three perpetrators were arrested. They will face justice for severe bodily harm. They were identified as: 34-year-old Nguyễn Hữu Thành, 31-year-old Nguyễn Văn Ánh, and 24-year-old Liễu Trường Giang.
