SALVADOR, BAHIA, BRAZIL – JULY 18, 2021 Kelly Sales Silva, better known by her stage name Kelly Cyclone, was a 21-year-old prominent figure of pop culture in the Brazilian state of Bahia. She was one of the first influencers and casually showcased her luxurious lifestyle on social media. She also did not hide the fact that she used drugs and associated with local gangs. She was sometimes nicknamed “Patroa do Tráfico” (The Lady of the Drug Trade).

But on July 18, 2011, her fate caught up with her and she was murdered. Her body was found in the Lauro de Freitas area with several stab and gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed that one of the gangsters she associated with had proposed to her. However, she rejected him, which triggered such rage in him that he murdered her.
