Two fast-riding young men on motorcycle fall under banana truck

SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – FEBRUARY 12, 2025 Two young men, identified as Joel and Yunito from La Agustinita, died in an accident on Nicolás de Ovando Avenue in the Cristo Rey sector. According to reports, they were repairing their motorcycle and went out for a test ride. However, the motorcycle did not function as it should have. They lost control of the steering, crashed into a curb, and were thrown directly under a passing banana truck. Both died at the scene. The accident was captured by a security camera. The aftermath of the accident was then captured by random bystanders.
