UKRAINE, 2020 Photos show a Ukrainian civilian woman who was hit and killed by mortar shelling from Russian separatists in eastern Ukraine. Although Russia had not officially confirmed a military presence in Ukraine as of 2020, it had been supporting the local separatists since 2014 – both financially and with ammunition.
