Unsuccessful apartment break-in attempt

MARNATE, VARESE, ITALY – APRIL 20, 2025 20-year-old thief attempted to break into an apartment through the roof. He climbed to the top of a two-story building and began removing roof tiles. However, several bystanders noticed his suspicious behavior and called the police to the scene. The thief reacted to their presence by throwing roof tiles. When the police subsequently arrived, he tried to escape them by jumping onto the roof of a neighboring building. But the jump did not go according to plan, and he plunged down. After being transported to the hospital, he was pronounced dead.
